What is a house concert you ask?
A house concert is an invitation-only concert held in someone's home, presented by a host who does not profit from the event (Guests are usually asked to give a donation that goes to the Artist). It is an intimate way to introduce new music to family, friends, and co-workers! A house concert is usually held indoors in a living room or if the weather is nice, outdoor on a patio is also an option. A small sound system is usually used. Some hosts will have a pot-luck dinner or snacks and beverages available for guests and there is usually 20-40 guests at the concert. The host prepares before hand to invite their friends, neighbors, and co-workers to the concert.
